Red Velvet Nightribbon takes the listener into distant, uncharted territory. The album is made up of many individual projects that were originally intended to be part of a variety of future albums, however due to the erratic creative process of the Reverend, the inspiration to pursue these projects further eventually dissipated. What remained were all these great unrelated songs but not even one cohesive album to show for it. They existed for what seemed like years with uncertain purpose until one day came the revelation of the songs' true destiny. It was decided the songs would be combined, and released as one large album sort of in the style of a dj set, showcasing the vast and unpredictable sound of the Religious Experience.
